Although he sees himself incredibly straight and normal in real life, a look through Ant Timpson’s collection of movies might make you think otherwise. His role as the ambassador for cult film in New Zealand has seen him involved in nearly every position you could imagine in the industry, from icecream roller to co-creator of the 48 Hours short film competition, and in some people eyes over the years, a peddler of smut. For 25 years now he’s also curated the Incredibly Strange Film Festival- our best chance of seeing weird and wonderful movies from the world over.
